BEAUMONT PHYSIOTHERAPY & SPORTS INJURY CLINIC DESIGN CONCEPTBeaumont Physiotherapy has been a pillar in it's community for over 26 years. While the service provided is remarkable, the interior was starting to look a little dated and the new ownership approached us for a fresh new look.
CWDesign was hired to create a new updated concept for the space with ONE caveat - the blue medical curtains had to stay. Since the clinic is quite large, this can be a fairly large expense to replace the curtains so our design team was asked to come up with a creative solution to keep them. The curtains were also in good condition so it didn't make sense to replace them just because of colour.
Our focus became incorporating elements that complimented the existing blue rather than try to make it disappear. We came up with two very different concepts that achieve this.

OPTION 1

Option 1 uses muted warm tones and neutrals to compliment the existing blue. The existing space had a lot of painted surfaces - all on the same material. We've added different materials like wood, fabric and metal to give more texture and variety to the space.
OPTION 2
The second option is a modern play on the 90's theme that was already existing. We took the infamous pink and blue that were so popular in the 90's and used it as accents throughout the space. Again, we used wood elements to add warmth to the space, applying it to the existing bulkhead in the ceiling.
Rather than typical logo signage, we opted for an abstract version of the logo in a custom graphic designed by CWDesign. The logo in this case becomes a work of art.
