No Risk, No Reward: Design Lessons From Dad

​With father’s day around the corner, I’ve been thinking a lot about the parts of me that were influenced by my Dad.  My Dad was doing life hacks before it was an even a thing.  He always has a tip on how to do everything better.  It's rubbed off on me in that it's created this need in me to constantly improve efficiency.  Since I started my career, my goal has never been to be an award-winning designer, but rather to help people have a successful renovation - making it the most efficient, with the least amount of challenges.
