I LIVE by this motto! We spend a lot of our waking hours working - why would you do something you don't love? Most people assume I do what I do for the love of design. That's not entirely true. I LOVE planning. I read a quote once that says 'The role of the designer is that of very good, thoughtful host anticipating the needs of his guests.' I love the attention to little details and that's the real service we provide to our clients - we handle all of the minutia on their project so they don't have to. It's a full time job to design and manage a renovation or a new build. Why would you want to do that when someone else can do it for you? A lot of work goes into our projects and we're sharing some of that with you this month. Before we can begin any project, we need to get to know our clients and what they value. We're talking about what values based design means and how you can plan your renovation or new build or around it. We've been working hard for almost a year to bring this pastry chef's passion to her kitchen. We're sharing photos of the progress and some of the design concept in this post.
