Spring fever. I catch this every year, without fail. The snow melts away, the sun comes out, and I am flooded with the need for change. You know the feeling - you get the sweats, a little restless, and you have this incredible need to make a big change in your life. So you start making 'plans'. You decide you're finally going to tackle that major renovation you've been putting off for years. You spend countless hours on Pinterest and Houzz researching home renovations, compiling hundreds of photos for your renovation. Then you realize that although you have all of these great photos, you don't know where to start. So you file your 'renovation folder' away and chalk it up to spring fever, deciding it's too much work to make a change. I LOVE that feeling I get with spring fever, the feeling of anticipation for something NEW. I look forward to that feeling of meeting a new client for the first time, and learning about their home and story. I love the creative process of starting new projects - designing space plans for a new build, or just selecting furniture to spruce up an entry way! The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new. At CWDesign it's our business to embrace change.
